Entertainment and event management 2024/2025

The course, which will be held in English, aims to provide students with the theoretical and practical basis for operating in the entertainment industry and event management.

The course will be mainly focused on the music industry in all its aspects, including economic aspects: more specifically, we will talk about the management of festivals, concerts, multimedia events, congresses related to the world of the music industry.

During the course some international guests from the entertainment industry will be invited who will share their experiences with the students to give a "practical" testimony of those who already work in the sector.

The economics of entertainment: the economic aspects of "global entertainment".

How to create a new "trend" in the music industry;

The "places" that generate new trends (in alphabetical order): Berlin, Dubai, Ibiza, Miami, Mykonos, Milan, New York, Tel Aviv;

From trends to events: how to create an internationally successful brand and how to export globally: (Elrow, Circoloco, Pacha Ibiza, Blue Marlin, Nikki Beach, Ushuaia Ibiza);

Are DJs and artists the new rock stars? Case studies.
